This 78-hour course will prepare the student to take the North Carolina Real Estate Licensing Examination. This course provides instruction in real estate principles and practices, including real estate law, financing, brokerage, closing valuation, management, and taxation. The student will also learn about residential building construction, land use, the real estate market, the North Carolina Real Estate Licensing Law, and the rules/regulations of the North Carolina Real Estate Commission. Students must be 18 years old to this course and the exam. Students must attend 80% of all the classes to get credit for the course. The student must pass the final exam for the course with a grade of 80% or higher to be eligible to sit for the North Carolina Real Estate Commission Broker Licensing Exam.

This course is designed to give the food handler the understanding of proper sanitation precautions and point out the results to be expected should these precautions not be taken. The course will deal with the study of infection and illness, proper food handling techniques, personal hygiene, and personal safety. Students will be made aware of the regulations of the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Textbook, ServSafe? Manager 6th Edition, can be purchased in the College store. Textbook with test sheet is required. The textbook is $102.00 + tax in the College Bookstore.
