Law Enforcement Training

Cleveland Community College offers law enforcement training for individuals that would like to become a sworn officer in the State of North Carolina (BLET) and training for current officers (In-Service Training).

Next Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) Recruit School:

The next day BLET class will begin in August, 2014 and conclude in December, 2014. Packets for the day BLET program will be given out starting on May 1, 2014.

To be considered for the program, the candidate must pick a packet up from the Director or Student Services.

Josh Feree Memorial Scholarship is an annual award of $500.00 for BLET.  Applicants must complete the FASFA application to determine grant eligibility.  Applications are available in Financial Aid on February 1st and the deadline to have all completed paperwork submitted is April 1st.  Scholarships awarded are good for 12 months.
