By completing your FAFSA application, you are applying for all state grants CCC has to offer. Eligibility is determined by the EFC number given to you once you have completed your FAFSA. State grants include:
North Carolina Community College Grant (NCCCG)- NCCCG provides funding to North Carolina residents enrolled in a community college who demonstrates limited or no eligibility for Federal Pell Grants. The maximum amount of NCCCG funds a student can receive is $950 for an academic year.
North Carolina Education Lottery Scholarship (NCELS)- NCELS provides assistance to needy North Carolina residents enrolled at least half-time who demonstrates limited or no eligibility for Federal Pell Grants. The maximum amount of NCELS funds a student can receive is $3400 for an academic year.
North Carolina Childcare Assistance Program- This program is available to eligible students who demonstrate exceptional financial need. It will assist in paying childcare funds for students who must have their child(ren) in childcare in order to attend college.
