COM 130 - Nonverbal Communication

This course introduces the contemporary study of nonverbal communication in daily life. Topics include haptics, kinesics, proxemics, facial displays, and appearance. Upon completion, students should be able to analyze/interpret nonverbal communication and demonstrate greater awareness of their own nonverbal communication habits. This course has been approved for transfer under the CAA and ICAA as a Pre-major and/or elective course requirement. Prerequisite: COM 110 or COM 120
