HIS 165 - Twentieth - Century World

This course includes the major developments, issues, and ideas in twentieth - century world history. Emphasis is placed on contrasting political systems, the impact of science and technology, and the philosophical temperament of twentieth - century people. Upon completion, students should be able to analyze significant political, socioeconomic, and cultural developments in the twentieth century. This course has been approved for transfer under the CAA and ICAA as a Pre-major and/or elective course requirement. Prerequisite: DRE 098
