PED 215 - Outdoor Cycling

This course is designed to promote physical fitness through cycling. Emphasis is placed on selection and maintenance of the bicycle, gear shifting, pedaling techniques, safety procedures, and conditioning exercises necessary for cycling. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate safe handling of a bicycle for recreational use. This course has been approved for transfer under the CAA and ICAA as a Pre-major and/or elective course.
