PSY 275 - Health Psychology

This course covers the biopsychosocial dynamics of stress and the maintenance of good health. Topics include enhancing health and wellbeing, stress management, lifestyle choices and attitudes, the mind-body relationship, nutrition, exercise, and fitness. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the psychological factors related to health and well-being. This course has been approved for transfer under the CAA and ICAA as a Pre-major and/or elective course requirement. Prerequisites: DRE 098 and PSY 150. (F, SU)
