Train to become an entry level automotive service technician. Students learn to inspect, maintain, and repair gasoline powered automobiles and light trucks. Students are encouraged to work on their personal vehicles. Upon completion students may sit for industry-recognized credentials. The fall semester class focuses on Engine Performance and the spring semester class focuses on Brake performance.
$180 paid at registration.
Financial Assistance is available to cover the total cost of this class. Application and approval are required. Financial assistance available to veterans.
Short term training
Teaches specific skills to gain Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification
Age 16 and older; High School diploma/GED recommended but not required.
