Heather Bailey will graduate in May with her Associate in Applied Science degree in Automation Engineering Technology. In a male-dominated career, she’s not someone you would typically see, but Heather is good at what she does! So much so that her Spring internship at IMA Contractors (Industrial, Maintenance, and Automation) may even turn into a full-time job when she graduates next month.
When asked what made her choose this career path Heather offered, “I was going to be a vet tech but changed my mind when my mother told me about my grandmother going into the engineering field. Plus, I love working with my dad on cars. My favorite part about this field is wiring up control panels and the people I work with at IMA.”
She’s an excellent student, and her employer can attest. “Heather is a talented, hardworking young lady. We have been very pleased with her work ethic and the skill set that she obtained at CCC.” –Lee Glynn, President, IMA Contractors
