A Message to the CCC Community

As Cleveland Community College returns to normal operations, we want to acknowledge the profound impact Hurricane Helene has had on our area. Cleveland County was hit much harder than anticipated. Many students and staff experienced power outages and property damage; some are still dealing with the storm’s aftermath. While the cleanup process will be extensive, please know that the entire CCC family stands with you during this difficult time.

We are incredibly fortunate that the College sustained no major damage during the storm; however, we recognize that many in our community were not as lucky. The College is committed to supporting our Yeti family as we navigate the days ahead. Students who need assistance with storm-related issues, please don’t hesitate to use our Student Support Services. Our staff will work to connect you with the resources available in our community.

Our thoughts and prayers are with those affected by Hurricane Helene, in Cleveland County and beyond. Remember, we are all part of the Yeti family, and we will get through this together.
