Cleveland Community College has been selected to host this year’s Summer Electrical Academy, funded by the Siemens Foundation and coordinated through the North Carolina Business Committee for Education. This initiative is designed to expand hands-on career exploration and strengthen North Carolina’s skilled talent pipeline.
This 8-week summer academy is available to current high school juniors and seniors enrolled in Cleveland County, NC. This opportunity includes paid learning experiences in the electrical field. Completers will receive a pre-apprenticeship certificate and college credit for two electrical courses.
Cleveland Community College will be offering interest sessions on Monday, March 2, 2026, and Tuesday, April 21, 2026. Both sessions will be held on the CCC campus beginning at 5:30 p.m. A parent/guardian must attend with the student. Complete the form below and indicate which session you will attend.
