Student Account Set-Up

Cleveland Community College uses a single sign-on system that eliminates the need for you to enter your username and password multiple times when accessing College apps and services.

The services you can access from your Application (Apps) Dashboard include Email, Blackboard, Self-Service, and MySuccess.

The information below will help you log into your student Apps Dashboard. If you have questions or need help, contact the HelpDesk at 704-669-4133 or ccchelpdesk@clevelandcc.edu

Setting up your online access

To log into your student Apps Dashboard, you will need to know your email address and password.

Your email address is based on your username.

What is your username?
Your username is your last name, or the first eight letters if you have a long last name, plus the first letter of your first name, plus the last three digits of your student ID. Your student ID was included in the welcome letter you received from CCC.
Example: John Washington (student ID 1234567)
Username: washingtj567

What is your email address?
Your email address is your username@my.clevelandcc.edu
John Washington’s email address: washingtj567@my.clevelandcc.edu

What is your password?
Your initial password for logging in the first time will be based on your birth year plus CCC#, plus the last three digits of your student ID.
If John Washington was born in 2002, his password would be: 2002CCC#567

After you successfully log in for the first time, you will be asked to provide alternate ways to prove your identity if you are ever locked out of the system. You can choose two out of three options: email, text, or security questions.

Once you have successfully logged into your student Apps Dashboard for the first time, you must change your password.

Click on your initials at the top right side of the page, click View Account, and then click Change Password.

Your password must include:

  • at least 8 characters
  • 1 number
  • 1 symbol
  • 1 uppercase letter
  • 1 lowercase letter

You will be notified to change your password every 180 days.

You will also need a C card

  • The C card is the official identification card at CCC.
  • Every enrolled student must have one.
  • It grants access to campus services, resources, and activities.
  • It serves as the student Library card.

Where do I get a C Card?

The circulation desk in the Rose Library (bring a photo ID)
