Choosing a major…

What does CCC offer?

CCC offers a variety of associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. When completing your admissions application, you must choose a program of study which will allow us to pair you with an academic advisor. (Programs of study can be changed at a later date).

Still unsure?

Choosing your major can be a stressful and difficult decision, but a career assessment can help! CCC has a free assessment tool to determine your interests and strengths to help match you with a major we offer.

Steps to Apply

State residency for tuition purposes is now determined by the Residency Determination Service (RDS). The Residency Certification Number (RCN) you receive will be used to complete your CCC Application for Admission. Keep this number in a safe place – you will need it later! This step can take up to 30 minutes to complete, so be sure you have enough time to complete it.

Establish residency

Have your Residency Certification Number (RCN) handy. Click the Apply Now button below to fill out the admissions application. Don’t forget to click submit when you are done! You should receive an email from CCC confirming receipt of your application. If you do not receive an email, you did not click submit. Click Apply Now again, log into your account and click submit on your application.

Apply now

You must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) if you want to be considered for federal, state, or institutional financial aid. Over half of our students receive some type of financial aid. Don’t miss out!

Be sure to include CCC’s school code (008082) on your application. Visit Paying for College for information on when and how to pay tuition, veterans affairs, scholarships and more.

FAFSA application

Send your official high school or GED transcript to CCC, along with any college transcripts for which you wish to receive transfer credit. You may bring a sealed copy of your transcript(s) to Student Affairs or request the sending institution to submit them for you. Please direct electronic transcripts and/or questions about sending your transcript to transcripts@clevelandcc.edu.

If you are a recent Cleveland County Schools graduate request your transcript now at https://clevelandnc.scriborder.com/

If you are a returning student, it is possible that we have your transcript on file. Please contact the Student Enrollment Center if you have questions.

I’ve completed my admissions steps…

what now?

Congratulations! Once you’ve completed the admissions steps outlined above, it’s time to move toward enrolling in the program of your choice.
