Keshia Cannova did not have a high school diploma, and it had been 13 years since she was in school. But, she realized it didn't matter how much time had passed, she owed it to herself to try to change her future. She earned her GED, completed the Pharmacy Technician Academy and is now employed as a certified pharmacy technician.
Recently, the CCC Board of Trustees recognized three employees from the Continuing Education Department for their hard work and positive impact on the students, the College and the community.
Dr. Fealita Prunty joined the CCC family about six months ago. Although she has extensive experience, this is her first year teaching Criminal Justice. She has worked as a training supervisor for Piedmont Airlines, a tutor and a substitute teacher.

Nicholas Inman joined Cleveland Community College’s faculty in 2022 as a math instructor. Originally from Michigan, Inman moved to Cleveland County to teach math at Kings Mountain High School, after graduating from Saginaw Valley State University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education.
