Adult High School

- The Adult High School (AHS) program helps students earn the credits needed to complete a high school diploma. Courses are customized, self-paced, and free of charge.
- Classes are available to adults ages 18 and older. Students ages 16–17 may enroll with special permission and should contact Jaime Henderson, Director of College and Career Readiness, for more information.
- Adult Basic Education (ABE) courses are provided to adults who need to improve their reading, writing, speaking, problem-solving, or mathematics skills, based on their Test for Adult Basic Education (TABE) results. (Students take the TABE test during orientation.)
Graduation Requirements
Cleveland Community College’s Adult High School (AHS) Diploma program is offered in conjunction with Cleveland County Schools and awards fully accredited diplomas upon completion of the required credits for graduation.
The credits needed are:

| Health/PE | 1 credit |
| Electives | 6 credits |
| Total Completed | 22 credits |
