Learn a new language
The English as a Second Language (ESL) program is for adults whose native language is not English. ESL classes provide instruction in the areas of speaking, reading, and writing English and focus on both the cultural and linguistic needs of the students.

This program also helps students acquire the communication, employment, and citizenship skills needed to succeed in the American community.
Registration includes an initial testing/placement assessment used to determine English language proficiency and level placement. ESL classes are offered in the evenings at Cleveland Community College, free of charge.
