This course introduces the mechanics of painting. Emphasis is placed on the exploration of painting media through fundamental techniques. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate a basic understanding and application of painting. This course has been approved for transfer under the CAA and ICAA as a premajor and/or elective course requirement.
