The curriculum prepares individuals to work with children from infancy to three years of age in diverse learning environments. Students will combine learned theories, competency-based knowledge, and practice in actual settings with infants and toddlers. Coursework includes infant/toddler growth and development; physical/nutritional needs of infants and toddlers; safety issues in the care of infants and toddlers; care and guidance; communication skills with families and children; design and implementation of appropriate curriculum; and other related topics. Graduates should be prepared to plan and implement developmentally appropriate infant/toddler programs in early childhood settings. Employment opportunities include child development and childcare programs, preschools, public and private schools, recreational centers, Early Head Start Programs, and other infant/toddler programs.

Enrollment in the Information Technology - Business Administration certificate is contingent upon successful completion of the Information Technology Foundations certificate. This certificate provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage information technology departments and small businesses in information technology. Upon completing this certificate, students should be prepared for the current CompTIA Project+ certification.

The Information Technology - Cisco Networking certificate provides students with knowledge and skills in network routing and switching in local and wide-area networks. Upon completing this certificate, students should be prepared for the current Cisco CCNA certification.

The Information Technology - Computer Science Foundations certificate is designed to immerse students into coding as they explore fundamental principles of computer science. Students will learn to read and write code, collaborate in teams, and emerge with strong portfolios.

The Information Technology (IT) curriculum with emphasis in Cyber Security prepares graduates for employment as designers, testers, support technicians, administrators, developers, or programmers with organizations that use computers to design, process, manage, and communicate information, depending on the technical path selected within this curriculum. Coursework includes development of a student's ability to communicate and solve technical issues related to information support and services, interactive media, network systems, programming and software development, and other emerging technologies based on the selected area of study. Graduates should qualify for employment in entry-level positions with businesses, educational systems, and governmental agencies which rely on computer systems to manage information. The program will incorporate the competencies of industry-recognized certification exams.

The Information Technology - Foundations certificate provides students with foundational knowledge and skills in a variety of information technology disciplines. All students who seek a degree in Information Technology should enroll in this certificate. Upon completing this certificate, students should be prepared for the current CompTIA Strata IT Fundamentals certification as well as the MTA in Networking Fundamentals, Security Fundamentals and Windows Operating System Fundamentals.

The Information Technology - Network Defense certificate provides students with advanced knowledge of information systems security. Upon completing this certificate, students should be prepared for the CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) certification and the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification.

The Information Technology (IT) curriculum with emphasis in Network Technician prepares graduates for employment supporting network infrastructure environments with organizations that use computers to design, process, manage, communicate, and store information. Coursework includes the development of a student's ability to communicate and solve technical issues related to network infrastructure support and services. Students develop an ability to design, install, configure, and manage network infrastructure and network operating systems. Students will learn how to use technologies to provide reliable transmission and delivery of data, voice, image, and video communications in business, industry, and education. Graduates should qualify for employment in entry-level positions with businesses, educational systems, and governmental agencies which rely on computer systems to manage information. The program will incorporate the competencies of industry-recognized certification exams.

The Information Technology - Network Technician certificate introduces students to the field of networking. Students gain basic knowledge of networking principles. Upon completing this certificate, students should be prepared for the current CompTIA Network+ certification.

The Information Technology (IT) curriculum with emphasis on Programming and Web Development prepares graduates for employment working in website design, development, and management with organizations that use computers to design, process, manage, communicate, and store information. Coursework includes the development of a student's ability to communicate and solve technical issues related to websites and web servers. Students develop an ability to design and program databases and database-driven websites, as well as administration of content-management systems. Graduates should qualify for employment in entry-level positions with businesses, educational systems, and governmental agencies that rely on computer systems to design and manage information. The program will incorporate the competencies of industry-recognized certification exams.

The Information Technology - Social Media certificate introduces students to the concepts of web fundamentals and the use of social networking as a marketing strategy employed by individuals as well as companies to promote branding.

The Information Technology - Web Development Specialist certificate provides students with the essential skills required to design a website with various media elements according to current HTML/CSS and JavaScript standards.
