Cleveland Community College has been selected to host this year’s Summer Electrical Academy, funded by the Siemens Foundation. This initiative is designed to expand hands-on career exploration and strengthen North Carolina’s skilled talent pipeline. Financial assistance for this program is provided through a grant awarded to the North Carolina Business Committee for Education by the Siemens Foundation.
This 8-week summer academy is available to current high school juniors or seniors from Cleveland County, NC. This opportunity includes paid learning experiences in the electrical field. Completers will receive a pre-apprenticeship certificate and college credit for two electrical courses.
