Dear Parent or Guardian,
Welcome to the Yeti Family! We are excited that you and your child have joined Cleveland Community College (CCC) through the Career and College Promise (CCP) program in partnership with Cleveland County Schools. Through the CCP program, eligible students can earn free college credit while in high school. We are here to support you and your child through this dual enrollment process.
Your child is taking one or more CCP courses through CCC. Final grades earned for CCP courses will be recorded on their high school and college transcript and factor into their high school and college GPA. To monitor the progress of CCP grades, please ask your child to log into their Blackboard account where you can see their progress in current courses.
All CCP students have access to many free resources at CCC.
Please encourage your child to take advantage of these free resources.
If your child has any course specific questions, please encourage him/her to contact the instructor directly. If your child will be absent, we strongly encourage him/her to notify the instructor(s) ahead of time, or as soon as possible.
