I have been at CCC since 2017 and work as the ACE Coordinator. My background is in English and writing, but I enjoy working in various subjects. I love tutoring because I get to watch students gain confidence in their own skills and because I get to stay a student forever!
I tutor in literature and writing in all subjects, as well as history, psychology, and other social sciences. Building student confidence is my favorite part of tutoring. When I’m not working, I enjoy creative writing and music composition/performance.
My name is Jacob, and I’m a proud graduate of Cleveland Community College’s Associate Degree Nursing Class of 2025. I work in an emergency department as a registered nurse and am currently enrolled in Western Carolina University’s RN-BSN program. I was previously a tutor and lab assistant/instructor at Gaston College, where I helped students tackle A&P. I also teach some classes at my hospital. I’ve worked with all kinds of learning styles, so let’s find what works best for you and boost those grades this semester. I’m excited to make learning both fun and effective together!

Hi friends! I am so excited to be a part of ACE! I tutor math and whatever is thrown my way! I genuinely enjoy helping in any way that I can when it comes to education! Fun fact about me – I thought that math was my least favorite subject up until high school (I even failed it once)! Math can be quite persnickety, but I would love to show you how absolutely amazing it can be!
Hello! I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Brevard College. I am currently getting my Master’s in mental health counseling. In my free time I love reading and being outdoors. I am so excited to assist students and watch them grow!
Hello! I am a chemistry, precalculus, and calculus tutor. Graduating from Cleveland Community College with high honors just this year, I recently attained my Associate of Science degree and plan to pursue my Bachelor’s degree in chemistry in the near future. During my time at CCC, I was also a student-athlete playing for the first ever Yeti basketball team.
I joined the ACE team in 2024 and loved it so much that I decided to stay after completing my degree! I recently started a new journey as a registered nurse on an orthopedic surgery floor, but before that, I worked as a pharmacy technician for four years.
