Meet the ACE Team

Becky Donaldson

ACE Coordinator

Writing, Learning Strategies, & More

I have been at CCC since 2017 and work as the ACE Coordinator. My background is in English literature, but I enjoy working in various subjects. I love tutoring because I get to watch students gain confidence in their own skills every day.

Robin

Lead Tutor

Writing, Learning Strategies, &More

I tutor in literature and writing in all subjects, as well as history, psychology, and other social sciences. Building student confidence is my favorite part of tutoring. When I’m not working, I enjoy creative writing and music composition/performance.

Patience

Lead Tutor – Nursing

Nursing, A&P, TEAS, Biology

I joined the ACE team in 2024 and loved it so much that I decided to stay after completing my degree! I recently started a new journey as a registered nurse on an orthopedic surgery floor, but before that, I worked as a pharmacy technician for four years.

Whether you need help learning about medications or study tips for an upcoming anatomy quiz, I’m here to help!

Alexa

Tutor

CNA skills, TEAS

I tutor in CNA and TEAS exam prep. Helping others become confident in their knowledge of material is my favorite part of tutoring! In my free time I enjoy reading, puzzles, and coloring!

Hallah

Tutor

Nursing, TEAS

I’m a nursing student who loves helping other nursing students feel more confident, prepared, and less overwhelmed! Outside of nursing school, you can probably find me sewing or hunting for cute vintage finds!

Hello! I am a chemistry, precalculus, and calculus tutor. Graduating from Cleveland Community College with high honors in 2025, I attained my Associate of Science degree. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor’s degree at NC State. During my time at CCC, I was also a student-athlete playing for the first-ever Yeti basketball team.

I mostly tutor English, Psychology, and humanities. I can also help out with history, biology, and computer skills. I’m currently working towards my associates degree. I plan to major in psychology and one day become a therapist! In my free time I play the guitar, draw, and roller skate!

Macey

Nursing, A&P, TEAS

I work as an RN in the emergency department. I started tutoring while I was in school but took a break when I graduated. Now that I have more experience, I’m excited to get back into tutoring! Outside of work and school, I enjoy traveling, taking pictures, spending time with my friends and family, and hanging out with my dog, Millie.

Maddison

I love nature, hanging out with friends, and photography. I love getting to know new people and love to help people most of all!

Matthew

Chemistry & Math

I love helping people learn! I also enjoy serving at church, playing piano, composing music, singing, acting, working on math problems that interest me, and helping at my Boy Scout troop.

May

Tutor

Practical Nursing, A&P

I recently graduated as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and am currently continuing my education through an LPN-to-RN Bridge Program, with plans to graduate in 2027. I enjoy encouraging others, building confidence, and sharing strategies that helped me along the way.

Sarah

Tutor

Nursing, A&P, TEAS

I’m a second year ADN student. This is my first year tutoring but I’ve always loved helping others learn and seeing people being successful. Before I found my niche with nursing, I was a hairstylist, 911 operator and a dental assistant.

Sasha

Tutor

Math

As a former CCC student now studying math education at UNC Charlotte, I’ve been tutoring at CCC since 2024. I enjoy watching students grasp the concepts that they once had concerns about and being there to support them!
