Veteran Aims to Keep People Safe
After serving in the Navy as an aviation structural mechanic for four years, Justin Lattimore is switching his focus to the world of computers and cyber security.
Although he’ll work with different equipment, he still aims to keep people safe. In the Navy, Lattimore ensured that pilots and their crews were safe. Now, he is studying to keep people’s data safe. He is pursuing an Associate in Applied Science in Information Technology – Cyber Security at Cleveland Community College.
Lattimore is excited to join one of the fastest-growing career fields. Cyber security offers many career opportunities with salaries reaching six figures.
Another great thing about careers in information technology is the flexibility many jobs offer. The ability to work remotely is one of the features that drew Lattimore to the field. “There are a lot of opportunities to work remotely so I can stay home and take care of my family.”
