For students who plan to apply to a NC 4-year public university to major in any liberal arts program such as music, history, education, pre-law, English, nursing (BSN), psychology or sociology.The Associate in Arts degree shall be granted for a planned program of study consisting of a minimum of 60 semester hours of credit (SHC) of college transfer courses.
For students who plan to apply to a NC 4-year public university to major in any math/science related major like math, pre-med, pre-dental, pre-pharmacy, biology, kinesiology or chemistry. The Associate in Science degree shall be granted for a planned program of study consisting of a minimum of 60 semester hours of credit (SHC) of college transfer courses.
For students who plan to earn a bachelor degree in education from a public NC university or participating private school. The Associate in Science in Teacher Preparation degree shall be granted for a planned program of study consisting of a minimum of 60 semester hours of credit (SHC) of college transfer courses.
For students who plan to earn a bachelor degree in education from a public NC university or participating private school. For students who plan to transfer into Bachelor of Music degree programs in a variety of specializations including music performance, music theory, music history, music education, composition, music technology, and more. The Associate in Fine Arts in Music degree shall be granted for a planned program of study consisting of a minimum of 60-61 semester hours of college transfer courses.
For students transferring to a Bachelor in Fine Arts (B.F.A.) four-year program or those with a strong interest in visual art. The Associate in Fine Arts in Visual Arts degree shall be granted for a planned program of study consisting of a minimum of 60-61 semester hours of college transfer courses.
