The Brown Emergency Training Center is a comprehensive training facility serving first responders of Cleveland County and across North and South Carolina.

A combination of on-the-job training and practical classroom instruction that prepares participants for high-skilled careers with local industry partners.

Work-Based Learning

Work-Based Learning (WBL) is an opportunity for students to use what they learn in the classroom on the job, and earn academic credit.

We work with our industry partners to identify short- and long-term training needs and develop customized training specific to their strategic business plan.

Casino Dealer Training

Specialized training programs for aspiring casino dealers. All classes are taught at Two Kings Casino, located in Kings Mountain, NC.
